We want everyone that takes part in our market research to enjoy the experience. Hopefully our website has helped you understand a little bit more about our work. Below you will find answers to the questions we get asked the most about We Love Research.

How do I access my account?

Once you’ve registered and received your password, you’ll be able to log in to your account by selecting My Account from the menu bar on the left hand side of each page. You can also log in by selecting the Secure Login link at the top right of every page. There’s also a “Secure Login” link at the bottom of our Home Page. Once you’ve logged in, selecting “My Account” will take you to straight to your account.

Why do I get an error when I try to log in?

The most common causes of this are:
Invalid Username – your Username is the same as your Main Email Address. If you’re logging in for the first time, this will be the email address that you used to register with us. You must enter this in FULL.
Invalid Password – our passwords are case-sensitive so you must make sure that you don’t have your “Caps-Lock” on.
The random password that we send you when you first register will consist of a mixture of upper and lower case characters and digits. We deliberately exclude characters that are commonly confused (like the number one and upper case i or lower case L) but you must still take care to enter your password EXACTLY as it is given. You can use our Passwords page to generate a new password if you have forgotten it.

I have exceeded the number of permitted log in attempts. What do I do?

For security reasons, we’ll suspend your account after a certain number of consecutive failed log in attempts. To reset your account, just contact us by email.

I haven’t received my Registration details. What do I do?

Email is not a guaranteed delivery system and there are many reasons why emails sometimes, emails don’t get through. These include mis-typed email addresses, “mailbox full” errors and problems with spam filters. If you have any problems just contact us by email. Please remember to include a contact number as we are not able to email you in these cases!

How do I log out?

Just select the Log Out link at the top right of every page. Note: this link will only appear if you’re logged in. Otherwise it will say “Login”.

Why do you record IP addresses?

This is an additional security feature to protect our server and your account details. By monitoring unusual registration or log in attempts we can block access to our server from malicious users.

How old do I have to be to join?

To join We Love Research you must be at least 18 years old.
